Testing for Primary school staff is being introduced nationally from next week . It is a voluntary process and will be conducted twice a week by staff at home. The testing is for staff who may not be showing symptoms but still would like to check on their health regularly . If staff test positive and have been in contact with your child within 48 hours of the test you will receive a text to indicate the bubble will have to close .
On another note for those of you who are key workers and sending your children into school can you email through to me a letter from your employer stating your role and the need to be in your place of work on a regular basis .I know some of you have already sent this through . This would really help with our internal records during Lockdown. If these documents can be emailed to me by Friday that would be really helpful. head@longsands.lancsngfl.ac.uk
