Mrs McKeown's Update Tuesday 28th April

28 April 2020 (by Martin Coyne (m.coyne))

We observed the minutes silence in school today and the children respected this moment .

I have been checking in with the teaching staff to see how home activities can be accessed and answers  recorded.   They seem to be mostly online with the occasional worksheet. I know the teachers are setting activities that do not need too much printing out at home. If there is a way of recording your child's writing /maths etc without printing please do so as I know the cost of paper and cartridges soon mounts up. I will put some extra exercise books in a box in the school porch if you wish to pick up a couple of these for your children if they prefer to write answers . There is a collection of writing books and squared maths books. School will be open to pick up these books between 7.15 and 3.45.  I hope this is useful .
We have had the homeless person on school grounds  again last night.  If you notice anything whilst school is closed please contact the Foxton Centre or the local PCSO office on 01772 209516.
School will now be closed on the 8th May . This is in line with a number of other Fulwood /Broughton primary schools.
