Our Governors
The Governors of Longsands are a huge part of our school community and leadership team. They work closely alongside the headteacher, senior leaders and staff of the school along with representatives of the local authority in order to monitor standards and effectiveness and to identify school development priorities.
Our Governing Body has a range of backgrounds, skills and expertise that support the school, ensuring robust decision making and challenge. Our Chair of Governors plays an active role in the life of our school, often supporting teaching and learning.
