Welcome to our Year 5 class page! We are so excited to be sharing this year with you and your children. This page is designed to keep you informed about what we are learning, homework, and events happening throughout the year.

In Year 5, we aim to create a safe, supportive and inspiring environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to try their very best. We proudly follow our school ethos, the Longsands Way, and strive each day to be ready, respectful and safe in everything we do. These values underpin our learning, our behaviour and the way we treat one another.

We believe that strong partnerships between home and school make a real difference, and we look forward to working closely with you to help your child grow in confidence, independence and curiosity.
