Update for key worker children

Thank you for your patience and understanding while we have been getting ready for opening tomorrow.

Just a quick update to answer a few of the questions we have been getting in today.

  • Your child/children’s places are secured for the period of the school closure. You can use them to fit around shift patterns or emergency calls.  Please remember to follow the government advice and keep children at home wherever possible.
  • If possible please inform Mrs McKeown if your child will be attending school over the next three days
  • Children attending school will follow the same learning as that provided through the online learning platform.  They will remain in their class bubbles and will be supervised by a teacher or teaching assistant
  • School uniform should be worn and extra layers as windows will need to be keep open for the air circulation as per the risk assessment. Please watch out for Classroom announcements on SEESAW with regard to PE kit requirement
  • Hot School meals will be available and will be as close to the normal term time menus as possible.  At this moment, school meals will still be charged at the normal price for KS2 pupils who are not entitled to Free School Meals
  • Opening times will remain the same as last time but will be reviewed on a regular basis
  • We have been informed by Discovery Vine that they will still be running Breakfast and Afterschool club

If you have any further question please don't hesitate to contact Mrs McKeown or myself.

Stay Safe
