Mrs McKeown's update Monday 20th April

20 April 2020 (by Martin Coyne (m.coyne))

Welcome back to our first ever remote learning Summer term!!

We have all had to adapt to new ways of working , so I wanted to take the opportunity to say what a fantastic job you are doing as parents/ carers supporting your child's wellbeing and learning during this time .
It has definitely been a strange and challenging time, so it's if  you and you and your child feel wobbly and worried at the moment . we are here for you every step of the way as we figure this all out together . Remember , if you have any concerns about helping your child learn or you need any other support from us do not hesitate to contact classteacher or myself.
The Government have still not really indicated when or how we will start to come back to school but yesterday pointed us all in the direction of the Oak National Academy online learning facility. This became live this morning and I am sure your child's teacher will be in contact with you about how to access.
Teachers  are back to their emails this week so you will once again have the opportunity to engage with them and ask for suggestions. For this week only it will  be just Year 3 who will not have access to Miss Abbas.
Keep in touch
